Hudson Technologies (HDSN) Inks DoD Mega-Contract; Super Micro Computer (SMCI) Tumbles on Bearish Forecast


Shares of Hudson Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:HDSN) climbed more than 40% to touch a new 52-week high in the extended session Monday after the company said that it received a five-year contract – plus a renewal option for the same time period – for the management and supply of refrigerants, compressed gases, cylinders and related items that represents potential sales of $400 million to the Department of Defense over the life of the deal between Hudson Technologies and the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency.

HDSN stock closed at $3.79, up $0.29 (or +8.29%), and 434,038 of its shares changed hands during the day

Hudson Technologies, which provides solutions to recurring problems within the refrigeration industry, has 32.97M Shares Outstanding. At close on Monday, the refrigerant services company had a Market Capitalization of $126.76M and HDSN stock one-year range was from $2.45 to $3.95 per share



Super Micro Computer, Inc. (Nasdaq:SMCI) shares slumped over 15% in after-hours trading Monday as the company said it will deliver lower-than-expected revenue and profits in its quarterly financial results

For its fourth quarter fiscal 2016, Super Micro Computer now expects to report revenue of between $520 million and $524 million, and non-GAAP earnings in a range of $0.15 to $0.17 per diluted share, versus its prior guidance range of $580 million to $640 million in revenue and non-GAAP earnings per diluted share of between $0.46 and $0.58 for the quarter, numbers below the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.50 earnings per share on revenues of $599.49 million for the period

SMCI stock finished the regular session at $26.34, up $0.34 (or +1.31%) with a total volume of 157,258 shares traded

Super Micro Computer, which develops and manufactures server solutions based upon a modular and open architecture, has 48.40M Shares Outstanding, Market Capitalization (intraday) of $1.27B and SMCI stock 52-week range is between $21.25 and $34.69 per share
